I had the same problem, you should try to unpack lha archive with lha program, not xad (voodoo-x or sth else), otherwise not all files will be unpacked from this archive.
There are some other bugs in the game (demo version for morphos), for example game hangs at this moment

I can still hear the music from the game but there is no action anymore, without any chance to quit, etc. I can switch to Ambient screen and do sth else but I can't do anything in the game.
